6th Annual First Nations Leading the Way takes Quebec!

During the week of November 14, the Tulo Centre was in Gatineau, QC participating at the sixth First Nations Leading the Way national meeting, hosted by the First Nation Fiscal Institutions (First Nations Finance Authority, First Nations Financial Management Board, First Nations Tax Commission, and the First Nations Infrastructure Institute) and the First Nations Lands Advisory Board.

First Nations Leading the Way 6 was a two-and-a-half-day hybrid event that showcased First Nations at the forefront of expanding jurisdiction highlighting their achievements in using First Nation-led legislation and initiatives to improve their economies through greater fiscal independence, improved financial management, debenture financing, and sound land governance.

Throughout the conference, the Tulo Centre team connected with conference attendees at our tradeshow booth and shared information about our programs and initiatives. Thank you to everyone that stopped by during the conference. It was great to connect with old friends and new faces.
